One of my biggest influences in life is my sister, Sammy. She has such a radiant soul & she's seriously blossomed over the years to become a magical being. During her time when she recently came to visit me, she enlightened me on a lifestyle similar to a vegetarian, but you can eat fish (because sushi ROCKS). It's called Pescetarianism. Sammy has been a pescetarian for about a year and a half & has inspired me to dedicate my life to being one too.
Not only is being a pesce better for our Mother Earth, but it rids your body's unnatural craving for other mammals. & from this, your body will thank you because you will have just lowered your chances for heart disease & other cardiovascular diseases, in turn, living a longer life. But more importantly, the Earth will thank you because you will be contributing to this world. Conserving other species & preparing for the future of the well-being of this Earth is something I recently started to think about. Well, not recently, but I've gained a greater knowledge as to how to go about protecting both my body & other animals.
I haven't been pescetarian long, actually, not long at all. But since I've made this lifestyle change, I have felt a rather happiness & fulfillment to my body. I've lost weight without depriving my body of essential proteins. & from this I've learned so much about all the foods that are just so nutritious & packed with those proteins, such as chia seeds, tofu, edamame & quinoa.
Im not here to tell you that eating meat is wrong. It is not my goal to criticize any decisions that you may or may not have. Nor am I here to change your opinion. My purpose is to simply open your eyes & hope that you can find your own way to protect the Earth.
This is just one of mine.
Leave only your foot prints.
